The more you switch
…the more you create.

The idea researchers explored is simple. When we spend too much time creating something our mind gets fixated on it and is less able to create.
We don’t switch because we get stuck, but precisely to avoid running out of ideas, or the cognitive health to keep having them. Researchers found that if we regularly switch between creative tasks, we perform better.
In practice, our brains break if we don’t give them a break.
