Misplaced goals
What if you invest in a goal to advance your career which nobody cares about and sees the way you do? The outcome seems obvious. A delusion. You haven’t done anything wrong except misplacing your goals.

My experience when I develop certain ideas and projects a bit outside engineering and more related to the crossing between pedagogy, learnability, technology, and culture, is not expecting recognition. I expect to enjoy those projects and inspire life transformative experiences. Not because I have something to say (although I do), but, instead, I have something to share: what I learn.
I see my career as the result of a life worth living, learning interesting things, developing knowledge, sharing experiences and, hopefully, inspire a few in people.
Maybe I wrong. Maybe I’m not. Time will tell.
