Miguel Panao | Professor and Author

Finding ways to improve scientific writing and academic productivity.

It takes time

To see a flower blossom.

To collect the fruit.

To grow.

To anything meaningful in life.

What’s the rush?

We send a message in an instant and expect an instant reply.

We search the web when we forget something and get a million instant answers.

We want a book and buy it in an instant.

We crave for instant stimulus when we get bored.

The world is still finding a balance between accelerating and stopping. But if the Universe took millions of years to achieve self-awareness in us, why do we want to live hyperbolic lives?

It takes time to build a worthy narrative and if we make each word meaningful, we write with our lives a book worth reading. Even if it takes time.
