One of the greatest cultural revolutions was something so small and simple, nobody even remembers. The space between words.
Before the space, all words were together and only scribes were able to understand the written culture passing between generations.
But introducing the space between words allowed the common person to learn how to distinguish words and be able to read.
Life is this frenetic succession of events after events and we often forget how important is to give space between events to actually read the history written by them.
Spaces in human culture demand creativity because the words events pronounce are steps in our cultural evolution. And the space between words/steps is what keeps us moving forward and deeper in our humanity.
